TRAY FEEDER
A tray feeder structure was based on the system of exchangeable cassettes separating the trays. A cassette is equipped with worm wheels. By turning of the wheels trays become separated using worm wheel screwline. The machine was additionally equipped with automatic tray buffer on a conveyor belt.
It is possible to order a machine in different sizes, adjusted to production requirements.

Tray feeder functions:
– A buffer conveyor may be disassembled from a machine in a fast and easy manner. The structure of the conveyor itself enables quick removal of the conveyor belt and washing all the components.
– The structure of guides allows for adaptation of the width (200–430 mm). The used guide adjustment mechanism makes it possible to change the width in a fast and easy manner. None of the parts of the mechanism extends beyond the tray feeder, even with maximum spacing. Sliding components of the guides may be disassembled for washing.
– The system of exchangeable separating cassette enables to obtain enormous flexibility of the fed products. A cassette mounted in a machine based on a removable drawer principle allows for fast conversion of the conveyor for a new product. The cassette weight not exceeding 16.5 kg enables exchange without using special lifting machine.
– The machine was equipped with automatic tray buffer. The locking device over the separating cassette prevents collection of extensive number of trays in a feeding tray, which as a result prevents the jamming of trays under the weight of the entre stack.
– The machine is delivered with a transport trolley for cassettes (with space for 2-3 cassettes). The trolley enables easy access during cassette cleaning process.
Flexibility of the solution:
– A modular structure allows for machine configuration.
– A cassette is driven by a servo motor. Trays feeding power may be smoothly adjusted. Speed may be adjusted to the production rate on a control panel.
– It is possible to design a feeder for feeding trays in a given sequence.
– No mechanism elements extending beyond the machine enable the machine to work with closely packed production lines. Depending on the tray orientation, a machine rack may be attached to a manufacturing line from a side and from the front. The rack is additionally equipped with carriages enabling easy manipulation of the feeder.
– a graphic operator interface enables easier operation.
